Color: Black Brand: JBL Model: JBLONST2UDPBLK Released on: 2009-11-30 Dimensions: .99 pounds Compact speaker system with built-in docking station that fits most docking iPods Quartet of Odyssey neodymium full-range drivers deliver clear, accurate sound 3.5 mm auxiliary input for connecting MP3 players, iPod shuffle, and other devices Wireless remote control with 50-foot range; 1-touch controls for volume and mute Measures 7 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall; weighs 1 pound; 1-year warranty
Set your music free as only JBL can do it with the black On Stage II iPod speaker system. The compact yet powerful high-performance system employs a quartet of Odyssey neodymium full-range drivers to fill your room with clear, accurate sound and all the volume you (and your friends and neighbors) can handle. It's the perfect accessory for bedrooms, smallish apartments, basements, and any other space where a full-size speaker system is pure overkill. The On Stage II incorporates Apple's universal iPod dock adapter, which works with most docking versions of the iPod, including the iPod video 5G and 5.5G and the iPod nano 1G and 2G. Simply slide your iPod into the dock and you're set--no additional cords to connect or adapters to fuss with. As an added convenience, the On Stage II also offers an auxiliary input for connecting a variety of other portable audio devices, including the iPod shuffle, personal MP3 and CD players, desktop and laptop computers (all platforms), and satellite radio receivers. As long as your portable audio device has a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack connection, you can play the audio through your On Stage II speaker. As a bonus, the On Stage II comes with a wireless remote control, giving you the freedom to enjoy your music from across the room or in another room--up to 50 feet away (including through walls). The system itself, meanwhile, includes easy-to-use touch controls for the volume and mute, and even remembers your last volume setting after it shuts down. The system, which offers a frequency response of 80 Hz to 20 kHz, measures 7 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall and weighs 1 pound. It's also backed by a one-year warranty. What's in the Box On Stage II speaker system, wireless remote control, power cord, iPod adapter, input cable, user manual.

With slwChell I recommend the JBL On Stage II for several reasons: the material and quality construction with attention to detail, unique, eye-catching design a plate with one hand, distance sensitive switch sound "tight", with exceptionally low sharp and deep treble frequencies, but not boomy. Disadvantages: Although the bass is stronger and less distortion than its smaller brother, it lacks the convenience of the JBL On Stage Micro, which runs on both batteries and AC (in addition, the power adapter to the Micro is the smallest and light), the On Stage II has been on the market for a while '(2006) and is not fully compatible with the latest Apple hardware (such as video transport sync your iPhone 3G or nano). It plays and charges my nano 3G and Classic 160 gig but it plays my touch 2G. In a pinch it will work fine without the adapters JBL brand (Harmon Int.) Can design and build quality is worth a few extra dollars, but if sound quality is the first consideration, let Athena iVoice fuller, deeper, richer than The On Stage II. And if you do not need a remote, but would the possibility of battery operation, such as Cyber Acoustics iRhythms model for about $ 35 works on batteries and AC and gives surprisingly full frequencied, undistorted sound quality comparable to that of phase II. 35 of 36 people found the following review helpful. BEST iPod accessory EVER! By Doreen D. This is hte best iPod speakers you'll ever have. JBL sound is fantastic! I will take it anywhere, sure I wish it could be battery powered, but nothing to deter you from getting it. with the video iPod, it works as a TV! we use it in hotels, cruises, where you can watch the videos, either outloud or connected to the headphones. Sound quality is amazing! Make sure the one with BOSE sound better, but one is about $ 400 and is huge! it is small and compact remote control works very well and is held in a belt, a shirt or pocket, this little system is so elegant, and charges the iPod instead of having to connect to your computer! if you are looking for iPod speakers these are the only ones to get! 19 of 19 people found the following review helpful work and E. Scultori This is not to be the keynote speaker. It is small and the sound is a bit shrill. However, for small tasks - like background music to fall asleep or have an intimate dinner - you'll be fine. The main problem is low. It is possible that the bass is good. But it is a very good system if your expectations are appropriate for their size. See all 126 customer reviews ....
